Stainless Steel Cable Tie Use Cases | Cable Ties

Our National Sales Manager, Bryan Biechler, goes over the different use cases where a stainless steel cable tie would be a better option than a nylon cable tie, most notably in situations involving extreme temperatures, heavy weights, and high-stress situations. At KDAR Company, we sell stainless steel cable ties in several different variations of sizes and tensile strengths.

Hi. I'm Bryan. I'm with KDAR Company, and I'm here today to talk to you about Stainless Steel Cable Ties.

First, I'd like to say about when to use stainless steel cable ties...mostly it's in extreme conditions.

So extreme weather conditions, [use] these cable ties. Where standard nylon cable ties have a temperature range from -40º to 185º, stainless steel have a temperature range from -80º to 1000º degrees Fahrenheit.

The second reason to use them is when you're in a high corrosion or caustic situation, such as seawater or that kind of thing, that would cause corrosion to degrade a nylon cable tie.

Third would be when you have heavy weights.

Finally, in a situation where you need higher flame resistance, radiation resistance, and vibration resistance.

Our stainless steel cable ties come in sizes from 8" to 41", and from tensile strengths from 100 lbs to 450 lbs.
